This workshop will introduce students to the basics of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and brand protection.

Learn the differences between each, when they matter, and how to take the first steps toward protecting your business, technology, and creative work.

Hosted at Star Park, the series features McCoy College of Business faculty sharing practical insight on entrepreneurship, innovation strategy, commercialization, funding, market validation, intellectual property, business development, and building technology-driven ventures.

This workshop will cover the basics of small business budgeting, pricing, expenses, profit, and financial planning to help students build smarter and more sustainable businesses from the start.
